Welcome to SML2029

AI began as an integrative and interdisciplinary domain, but over past years it has constrict to become certainly a core technical discipline. Expanding its disciplinary orientation due to massively increasing AI systems applications to social contexts is surely need of the hour. Resultantly, this expansion will more focus on various potential hazards when these systems are adapted to human populations. Unmatured and Unhindered forms of AI experimentation on the human masses is a prime rising concern today.

We primarily see the emerging risks like – from unmatured facial recognition systems. These kind of automated intelligent systems provide facility to identify and recognize human faces within images and video instances, and further can be possibly utilized as consolidation with other set of system tools to handle more refined form of surveillance like – interpreting speech from considerably sufficient distance, automated lip-movement-reading and interpreting etc.

While AI routines still endeavor considerable promise, accelerated deployment of systems without admissible assessment and oversight can produce serious endangerments. We are determined to understand, track and analyse the complexities of AI systems and provide empirically better solutions to broader societal contexts. .
